Candelaria esta situada en el Pacifico al sureste de Guatemala, Centroamérica. Los aproximadamente 1200 habitantes viven de la pesca artesenal, la produccion de camarones, frutas tropicales, ajonjoli, turismo y mucho más. Sobre todo, todo se hace con el corazón!
The community
Candelaria is situated at the Pacific coast southeast of Guatemala, Centralamerica. The approximatly 1200 inhabitants make a living off fishing, shrimp farming, farming of sesame and tropical fruits, tourism and much more. Above all people will give you a very warm welcome.
Die Gemeinde
Candelaria liegt am Pazifik im Südosten des mittelamerikanischen Staates Guatemala. Die ca 1200 Einwohner leben u.a. vom Fischfang, Garnelenzucht, Anbau von Sesam und tropischen Früchten und vom Tourismus. Vor allem geschieht alles mit Herz - con el corazón!
